This Acer netbook is fabulous for its purpose. It travels well and easily. The battery life is 8 hours or better. It is fast enough for me, even without upgrading to the 2GB. The mouse pad is a little squirrely, and sometimes the shift keys don't do their job unless you press and hold for longer than normal, but overall, I love this.
